COMPLETE PROGRAMS FOR THE DIFFERENT STAGES OF YOUR CHILDREN'S EDUCATION

Early Childhood

Pre-Kinder and Kindergarten classes offer children ages four and five the opportunity to learn reading and math readiness and social skills, all through structured learning and play activities. These early school experiences nourish a child’s self-esteem, promote creative expression and provide a positive, joyful introduction to the school environment.

Elementary School

Children enrolled in the elementary school are exposed to a balanced, standards-based curriculum. A strong academic program is offered in reading, math, science, and social studies. Children are encouraged to become independent learners, while being nurtured in a caring, academic environment. Individual growth is fostered through the use and with attention to different learning styles. We believe every child is gifted and all of our elementary teachers have been trained in Talents Unlimited in an effort to support student's growth in critical thinking and others academic skills.

Middle School

A more challenging curriculum combined with opportunities to participate in student government and community service give middle school students – grade six through eight – the skills they need to make a smooth transition from the self – contained classrooms of elementary to the more independent world of high school. Special middle school traditions include the Halloween dance and the “lock – in”.

High School

A rigorous academic program, which includes nine AP courses, is designed to prepare students for college entrance and success. Our small classes allow for individual attention and an opportunity for every voice to be heard. Nearly all of Maya graduates go directly to a four-year college in the U.S., Latin America, or Europe.
