PTA Mission


The mission of the Colegio Maya PARENT TEACHER ASSOCIATION is to meet the diverse needs of the students, parents and teachers, and to empower them to become successful members of the Colegio Maya Community.

The PTA fosters comunication between all members of the school. Funds raised at the PTA events and activities are used to enrich school programs and to support the school budget through purchases benefiting the entire school community.

The goals of the PTA are:

  • Support teachers and classroom activities through parent participation.
  • Create opportunities for parents to meet and students to get acquainted.
  • Provide an organizational structure for parents and teachers to work together to improve education.
  • Act as a liaison between parents and the school administration.
