Introduction:

• Mrs. Sherman talked about the meaning of the Fall Festival at school and the rules for the children’s costumes.

Business:

• Elke Whittle explained the Fall Festival in details: parade, games, decorations and treats.
• Ivelisse Vega explained the pumpkin and bake sales in detail.
• Recruited volunteers for Fall Festival, the pumpkin and bakes sale.
• Patti Dryden and Rodrigo Maegli will research a new site for the Fun run 2010.

New Business:

• Pumpkin sale – October 29 & 30, 2009: Ana Muñoz and Ivelisse Vega are in charge of this event.
• Bake Sale – Ana Muñoz and Ivelisse Vega are in charge of this event.
• Elementary Fall Festival – Friday, October 30, 2009. Person in charge: Elke Whittle.

Future Business:

• International Student Potluck (Lunch) – Wednesday, November 25, 2009.
• Holiday Bazaar – December 9, 10 & 11.  Person in charge: Patricia Sperbund.
• Fun Run – Saturday, February 20.  Person in charge: Patti Dryden.
• Book Fair – February 24, 25& 26. Person in charge: Yolanda Sucre.
• “I Love to Read” Month: March. Person in charge: Cecilia Damonte
•  Friendship Fair: Saturday, April 17. People in charge: Ivelisse Vega and Ana Muñoz.
• Teacher Appreciation: December and May.  Need to talk to administration to coordinate the dates.

Financial:

• By October 14 the PTA has collected in dues the amount of  Q9,700.
