  • I.                   School Wide

 

  • ·         American citizens who wish to learn more about how to register to vote for the November US elections are invited to meet with Diana Diaz Granados on Monday, Sept. 8th, at 3:15pm in the Elementary computer lab.  Be assured this is a non-partisan service which is aimed at assisting interested staff who want to vote in November but don’t know how. (Mr. Combs)

 

  • II.                Elementary

 

      • ·         Attention Elementary Writers!  Be a part of the Young Author’s Contest.  The Young Author Contest is open to students in grades Pre-K to 5th. Create your own original story or poems at home.  Stories be non-fiction, fiction, mystery, poetry collection, play, science fiction, biography, autobiography, alphabet, animal, or a short story collection and will be judged on:  interest to other children, originality, creativity, neatness and lack of spelling and grammatical errors.  The Young Author’s box will be put in the Elementary lobby next week.  The due date will be posted on the box each month.   As mentioned before, the stories and poems need to be completed at home.  For a list of contest rules please see your teacher or Mrs. Solis.

Our first meeting will be Tuesday, September 9th at 11:35. We have a MS dance to plan! All candidates need to take down their election campaign posters now.
