are ways you can be active
It is important to be physically fit Being physically fit means your heart, 
bones, and muscle are strong and healthy
It is important to exercise frequently Your body and your muscles feel best if
you play and exercise a little bit every day
CARDIO RESPIRATORY FITNESS

Your heart is an important muscle Your heart is your chest
It is the size of your fist covered by

You can achieve muscle strength and endurance in You help your muscles become strong and

There are different ways you can test your muscle You take the pull-ups test to see how 
strength and endurance strong your arms and shoulders are.
You take the curl-ups test to see how 
strong your abdominal muscles are
FLEXIBILITY

little, so it doesn't hurt.
When you stretch, remember to hold the
stretch - don't bounce
You should hold a stretch at least for a
count of 10
If you stretch with your legs together, keep
your knees bent a little, so you don't hurt
your back
There are different ways to test your flexibility You take the sit-and-reach test to deter-
mine the flexibility of your lower and leg
muscles.
