At Colegio Maya We Aim for Excellence!

The graduating class of 2011 has 16 graduates attending colleges and universities in the following countries: 

  • USA:  11
  • Guatemala: 2
  • Korea: 2
  • United Kingdom: 1

In 2011 Colegio Maya offered Advanced Placement (AP) exams in 11 different subject areas. Every student who took AP tests passed at least one exam, with an overall pass rate of 96%!

 

In 2010, using the Newsweek/Jay Matthews formula for ranking high schools, this year Maya would have scored a 5.56 which would have ranked us as 41st among high schools in the US.

 

The graduating class of 2010 had 28 graduates who received nearly $1.5 million in university financial aid.
