Education: B.A. Honours Psychology, University of Guelph, Ontario; M.Ed. Teaching and Learning, University of Ottawa; B.Ed Primary/Junior University of Ottawa Courses offered: 4th Grade Reason for living in Guatemala: While traveling through Guatemala last year I fell in love with its beautiful people, rich culture and wonderfully bright colours. I had to comeback and stay a while. Time spent in Guatemala: Almost a month. Reason for choosing Colegio Maya: I had heard such absolutely wonderful things about the level of education, the spirit of the school and the leadership of Dr. Miller that I wanted to be a part of it. Quality of Experience in Guatemala and Colegio Maya: Everyone has been so warm and welcoming; I am delighted to be here! Interests: Cooking (and eating), hiking, scuba diving, volunteering, reading- I’m on a non-fiction kick right now, learning- I love to try new things, foreign films, indie music, going to the theatre, live music and dancing to my own rhythm.
