Education: Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Oregon State University. Masters of Arts in Teaching from Willamette University Courses offered: 3rd Grade Reason for living in Guatemala: To teach at Colegio Maya, learn more Spanish and explore this beautiful country. Time spent in Guatemala: One week so far! Reason for choosing Colegio Maya: The focus on educating the whole child, social, emotional, academic and physical. Quality of Experience in Guatemala and Colegio Maya: Wonderful so far, the staff has been extremely welcoming and I adored our trip to Lake Atitlan! Interests: Running and hiking with my dog Sophie Joy, dancing, traveling, skiing, biking, swimming, doing yoga and listening to good music. Family: My wonderful parents, grammy, brother, sister, two nephews and my niece Hayley. Future plans: To enjoy my life, live it fully and share love and peace with those around me.
