Education: B.A Art Education PK-12 Hiram College Courses offered: Elementary Art, Middle School Exploratory Art, High School Art I-3 Reason for living in Guatemala: There is no place on earth I would rather be at this time in my life! Time spent in Guatemala: I have been here 19 years. Reason for choosing Colegio Maya: I have put three children through the Maya system, chose the school for its international status, and have never regretted this choice for almost two decades. Quality of Experience in Guatemala and Colegio Maya: So, during these two decades, I have taught three years, parented three kids , and served on our Board of Directors for six. I also am the designer for a small U.S. company that produces artwear for export. That was the original lure. My father was with AID, and posted here in the mid sixties, so I was a third culture child at that time. Interests: I love to travel, cook, read, and attend/participate in anything related to the performing and fine arts. Obviously, I have my own studio projects in constant motion! Family: I have 4 children between the ages of 33 and 18, all reside in the U.S. Future plans: Now that my nest is empty, I look forward to this new found freedom to do more traveling.
