Education: BA in Education with a minor in Spanish from Northern Arizona University. English as a Secondary Language Endorsement from University of Phoenix. Spanish certified. Courses offered: 2nd grade Reason for living in Guatemala: Guatemala is such a beautiful country. Time spent in Guatemala: 10 years on and off Reason for choosing Colegio Maya: I heard so many positive things about Colegio Maya. I enjoy working with such a professional staff and wonderful students. Quality of Experience in Guatemala and Colegio Maya: I have met so many interesting people and learned so much about the Guatemalan culture. Interests: Running, traveling and jewelry making Family: I have a very supportive husband, five year old daughter and 22 month son. Rafael, Sofia and Steven mean the world to me. Future plans: Further my education and get involved with community service activities. I want to continue spending quality time with my family.
