Education: Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Dance from the University of Texas at Austin, Master of Education from The College of New Jersey; Global Graduate Program, Johannesburg, South Africa Courses offered: PK- 5- Elementary Drama; Drama Exploratory (6-8); Introduction to Speech and Drama (HS); Drama Production (HS) I also direct the Middle School and High School plays! Reason for living in Guatemala: Prior to coming to Guatemala, I lived in Ghana, West Africa for 8 years developing a mango farm and eco-village. I felt it was time to explore a new culture and experience new adventures abroad. Time spent in Guatemala: This will be my 3rd year in Guatemala, and I have loved every minute of it! Reason for choosing Colegio Maya: Maya just emitted something special….I could feel it from afar. I was right ;) Quality of Experience in Guatemala and Colegio Maya: Guatemala is just a colorful, vibrant, friendly, and beautiful country…with incredible weather too! We have enjoyed every minute so far. Being a part of the CM community has given me the support and warmth I need, to make my experience in the country even better! Interests: Traveling, cooking, eating good food, swimming, dancing, singing, playing guitar, listening to live music, acting, experiencing nature, making jewelry, designing clothes, reading a good book (wish I had more time to do it!!) Family: My son, Seli Kai, was born Dec. 24, 2004….next year he will join me at Colegio Maya in PK! Future plans: ¿Quien sabe? To define my future is to limit my possibilities…
