Letter for Parents: Athletic Season

MIDDLE SCHOOL AND HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS TOURNAMENTS
 

The high school basketball season came to an end in October. To wrap up their seasons, our boys’ and girls’ teams completed in the Bicultural Cup along with other schools in the city. The tournament was held from the 4th to the 8th and was a great chance to see our players at their best. Both our boys and girls teams each took 3rd place in the tournament.

Our high school boys’ basketball team also completed in the international AASCA Tournament in Costa Rica during the weekend of October 24th-28th. Our boys truly represented the Maya Spirit and were awarded the Sportsmanship award for their positive and supportive attitude on and off the court.

We will hold a local awards ceremony for our high school student-athletes on November 21st at 2:20 in the PAFA.

The middle school soccer seasons ended in early October with the Middle School Bicultural Cup. We appreciate all the support the community showed for our young players. Our boys placed 2nd overall and our girls came in 3rd.

The middle school students have begun practicing volleyball and will culminate this season with a tournament on the 27th - 30th of November.
