Middle School Lock-In

In 1996 a new tradition was started that was just for the Middle School, the Lock In.  The idea was that all the students and their teachers would spend the night at the school involved in activities and getting to know each other better.  The first year the teachers actually thought that the students would want to sleep at one point in the night!!

Since then, it has become the tradition that no one sleeps, or at least sleeps as little as possible.  Lock In also means getting a special tee shirt, receiving an award for staying up, and for the 8th graders who have attended three of the events, being awarded with a personalized key.
