Kyle attended Colegio Maya since kindergarten and graduated with the class of 2004. He was Senior Class President and a member of National Honor Society. Kyle was a part of the Colegio Maya Knowledge Bowl team that won first place at the 2003 AASCA Tournament, as well as a member of the basketball, volleyball and soccer teams, winning numerous awards for Colegio Maya. He was also active in Drama and had roles in many productions, and participated in the Global Young Leaders Conference. Valedictorian of his class and recipient of the AP International Diploma, after leaving Maya he now attends Harvard University and was recently featured in local newspapers.
