Ms. Johnson has an article in this month’s TIE (The International Educator) magazine/newspaper on page three about her binders and the way she uses an index to keep everybody on the same page. Check it out on line, in the Secondary Library or in the Faculty Lounge.

Way to go, Janelle!

Celina Novella - Art Show, October 22, 2003

Congratulations to one of our artists in residence, Middle School student Celina Novella! As many of you know, Celina is an expert at making intricate miniature sculptures out of special clay. In an outstanding effort of community service, Celina’s works were on display at a show this week in Cuatro Grados Norte and the proceeds from the sale of them went to support a hospital here in Guatemala City for children who have SIDA or AIDS. The great news is, every one of her pieces sold! So the children have received help in an unusual and wonderful way. We are proud of you, Celina, and thankful for this model of real community service!
